OSI Global began with one clear objective: to make transport and logistics management simple, efficient and reliable.
WHAT DO WE DO?
OSI Global Supply Chain integrates processes, resources and technology to deliver a real supply chain solution, focusing on processes improvement, communication and cost savings.
With twenty years of experience working in management for large multinational companies such as Nestle, Christian Salvensen or UTi Worldwide, as well as smaller family based transport and logistics companies, I realized there was a niche in the market I wanted to explore.
I became aware that my role in the management side of the multinational companies was too far away from the day-to-day actual “business” of the trade and more importantly the people. On the other hand whilst working for the smaller family run businesses, where I could see and be part of the day to day, I noticed that the local company owners were finding it increasingly difficult to maintain their businesses in the competitive transport market.
I then set out to create the best of both worlds; a way for local companies to become more multinationally minded in order for their business to grow. By working together with local, specialized transport and logistics companies we are able to give them new services which otherwise would only be accessible to the larger multinationals thus helping their business to grow.
Our central office is based in The Netherlands and to date we have established regular full truck load, direct delivery shipments and warehousing solutions as well as overseeing supply chain projects for clients overseas. I am enjoying the challenge of setting up our family business and look forward to helping yours to grow globally very soon!
